Semi-Permanent Makeup (PMU) services are cosmetic procedures designed to enhance or recreate the appearance of eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. The process involves using a handheld machine and/or microblading tool to deposit pigment into the skin, giving the appearance of makeup that won't smudge or wear off throughout the day. Before the procedure, the technician will consult with the client to determine the desired shape and color. The technician will then numb the area with a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. The procedure typically takes about 2-3 hours to complete. The process is similar to tattooing but is specifically designed for a semi-permanent cosmetic purposes. The results are long-lasting, typically lasting 2-5 years, depending on the individual's skin type and lifestyle. Touch-up appointments are recommended every 12 months to maintain the desired look.

Before making your appointment, do any of these factors apply to you?

Pregnant
Breastfeeding
Diabetic*
Taking blood thinner*

Are pregnant or nursing.
Have diabetes.
Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy (consult your doctor).
Have viral infections and/or diseases.
Have epilepsy.
Have a pacemaker or major heart problems.
Have had an organ transplant.
Have skin irritations or psoriasis near the treated area (such as rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.).
Are sick (e.g., have a cold, flu, etc.).
Have had Botox within the past 4 weeks.
Have a sunburn.
Are prone to keloid scaring.

If any of these factors apply to you, it would make you ineligible for the procedure since you would be at a higher risk of getting an infection. If none of these factors apply to you, please proceed with booking your appointment.

Please, avoid the following before your procedure:

Working out on the day of the procedure.
Tanning or having a sunburned face.
Taking Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, or Ibuprofen 24 hours before the procedure.
Consuming alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure.
Waxing, tweezing, or tinting 3 days before the procedure.
Undergoing electrolysis 5 days before the procedure (do not resume any hair removal method for at least two weeks).
Getting eyelash tinting or curling 48 hours before or two weeks after the procedure. Avoid wearing eyelash extensions or strips 1 week prior to and during the day of the eyeliner procedure. Stop using Latisse 2 weeks before your procedure.
Avoid wearing contact lenses during or immediately following the eyeliner procedure. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses afterward.

Post treatment care tips:

Use a good sunscreen to protect your permanent cosmetics from fading due to sun exposure.
Inform technicians about your permanent cosmetics if you plan to undergo a chemical peel, laser procedure, or MRI scan.
Avoid using Retin-A/Tretinoin or any other rapid skin exfoliation products regularly on the forehead area, as they can cause premature fading of eyebrow tattoos.
Regularly undergoing chemical peels and acid peels on the forehead region can also lead to premature fading of eyebrow tattoos.
